Jim Hance is a graphic designer, Web designer and editor with expertise in corporate communications. Winning proposal and presentation to the County of San Diego for the $50 million cleanup of fire debris following the October 2007 wildfires which burned 700,000 acres. The winning Powerpoint presentation for Rore-PRI Joint Venture was created over a weekend.

Sempra Energy Powerpoint presentation to corporate rate payers.

Program, poster and all collateral material for the 2008 National K-12 Ceramics Exhibition in Pittsburgh, PA.

Redesign and branding of Website, marketing collateral including direct mail advertising, email blasts, and 51 stockholder publications for Dunham & Associates Investment Counsel.

Cited by San Diego Mayor Golding for design contributions including custom maps and charts for proposed services to the City of San Diego's proposal for the 1996 National Republican Convention, and the proposal for the 1998 Super Bowl.

Branding and design of marketing collateral, publications and presentations for the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as presentations to the City Council.

Design of 30 projects in support of the 1999 American Society of Association Executives Conference, a major city conference which netted the City of San Diego more than $100 million in subsequent convention business. Projects included street banners for Harbor Drive, and Broadway, special event staging, maps, brochure, attendee I.D., programs, signage and three editions of a special marketing newsletter for generating attendance.

Jim Hance has a B.A. degree in Comparative Literature/Journalism from San Diego State University. His job titles have included:
Advertising Agency Art Director, Production Manager, Magazine Editor, Art Department Manager, Graphic Designer, Technical Editor, Technical Illustrator, Typographer, Newspaper Advertising Manager, and Newspaper Production Artist.

Jim Hance has served on the boards of directors of American Institute for Graphic Arts (San Diego) as treasurer, newsletter editor, and program chairman, Communicating Arts Group of San Diego as newsletter editor, Lakeside's River Park Conservancy as newsletter editor, Bon Temps Social Club of San Diego as treasurer and Webmaster, Hustle San Diego as Webmaster, and the San Diego Wheelmen bicycle club as newsletter editor. He has also contributed his design expertise to a number of non-profit arts groups as a Business Volunteer for the Arts through the San Diego Performing Arts League. Jim Hance graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego, and not surprisingly was the school's student newspaper editor-in-chief.
